The winter was very mild and dry from early November through to the end of January. In recent weeks the weather has turned bad with some very cold and wet weather. As a result, we have had to close the course with the main reasons being the health and safety of golfers and to protect the condition of the course which the greenkeeping team is working very hard to continually improve. At Silloge we have always done our best to get the course open as much as possible. We understand it can be disappointing when the course is closed and you have your game of golf planned but we would ask for the understanding and support of members through 2022.

Thanking you in advance,

Niall O’Reilly
